Unlight

1. Please, tell us something about your band (history, members, recordings/releases, livegigs, label? etc.).
   

   Blaspherion:

   I founded Unlight in October 1997. In the first years we used to play with keyboards but after a couple of years and some line-up-changes, we decided to kick it out of the band. Those line-up-changes went on until a few months ago when we changed the 2^{nd guitar. In those 12 years, Unlight exists now, we recorded one Demo-CD, four albums and one Split-EP. We usually play aobut 10 gigs a year.}




2. How would you describe your position in the wide-world metal scene? What do you think about the underground movement?
   

   Blaspherion:

   When we are talking about Unlight´s position in the world wide metal scene I unfortunately have to say, that we are not that well known all over the world. The underground is very important. A lot of very good bands are just waiting to be recocnized by an bigger audience.




3. Which 3 CDs would you take with you to a lonely island?
   

   Blaspherion:

   Dissection – Storm Of The Light´s Bane

   Sodom – Agent Orange

   Metallica – Kill `em All




4. If you had enough money to shoot a video, how would the clip look like?
   

   Blaspherion:

   I don´t know. That would depend on the song the clip has to fit. But I think, there sure would be some blasphemic stuff in it.




5. If you've the chance to change one day of your life. Which will it be and why?
   

   Blaspherion:

   I won´t change a single day. I don´t regret any day of my past life. If you stick to the past that strong, it just keeps you something like paralized.




6. Which song shall be played on your burial?
   

   Blaspherion:

   Maybe Alice Cooper`s "I love the dead". And maybe the coverversion of that particular song performed by SAMAEL.




7. If you had the chance to kill someone and to bring back one person in the same way, which would it be and why?
   

   Blaspherion:

   I´d like to kill more than just one person. But most of all, all the religious leaders of the whole wide world! And it´s no need to bring back anyone for killing them. It would be ok just knowing, they´re all dead




8. What means metal to you?
   

   Blaspherion:

   Have a guess! Yes, it´s my way of life. No other way to do it!

    




9. What is your opinion on political lyrics?
   

   Unlight has nothing to do with political statements! That´s not our business! And it never will be!!!!

    




10. What can we expect from your band in the future?
    

    Blaspherion:

    Of course we are going to record a new album as soon as possible. Maybe then we are trying to find some cool tour-offers. But until then we will just go on writing songs and playing our gigs.
